| It's a Dream Match-up: The Celtics and Lakers meet again in the NBA finals! The Celtics-Lakers rivalry is a rivalry between two of the most storied basketball franchises in National Basketball Association history. The Celtics currently lead in total championships with 16 and the Lakers at 14. Can Boston's new Big Three make it 17? Will the home court advantage help the Celtics? Join the NEPFNC as they support the Celtics in their quest for the championship. We will be meeting at Playmaker's on Thursday for game 1 and Sunday for game 2. Thursdays game is a double header with the Red Sox taking on the Devil Rays at 6:00 and the Celtics starting at 9:00. Sundays tip off is at 8:00. Both events will be filled with games, give-a ways, beer and food promotions and special guests so come join us. |
| OUR NEW HOME Imagine walking into a bar surrounded by giant TVs, rowdy fans, access to a long bar on one wall, team banners hanging from the rafters and the NEPFNC banner in the center of all of that. Sounds perfect. Than, welcome to our new home. Playmaker's is very happy to have the New England Patriots Fan Club of North Carolina call their bar and restaurant home this year. They have 8-10 foot big screen HDTV's, an outdoor patio with TV's and a total of 30 TV's on site. They are in the process of updating their menu and plan to add Patriot specials. They are located right off I-440 and have plenty of parking. We hope to see you all this year and bring your friends! |
